Specifically tailored for members of the Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW), this application facilitates timely health care through phone or video consultations. For those who find it inconvenient to travel for medical appointments or endure lengthy waits in clinics, this service presents a convenient alternative.

HOW IT WORKS

Users can request appointments 24/7 by simply opening the CHPW Virtual Care App, initiating a virtual consultation, inputting relevant medical history, and processing payment (with most telehealth visits covered by CHPW insurance). Appointments can be scheduled for a later time or requested for immediate consultation. A board-certified physician from Teladoc will review your information and reach out via phone or video. Consultations have no strict time limits and will vary based on the medical issue discussed.

COST

This telehealth service is included within your CHPW plan benefits. However, standard copays may apply based on your specific plan. Refer to your plan’s Evidence of Coverage for detailed cost information.

Connecting members with a board-certified Teladoc physician licensed to practice in Washington State, CHPW Virtual Care can assist with diagnosing and treating various conditions, including:

PRESCRIPTIONS

If deemed necessary for treatment, the physician can prescribe medications. Prescriptions are transmitted electronically or by phone to the pharmacy of your choice. Some pharmacies also offer mail-order services for CHPW members.

This service is intended for non-emergency health concerns. In an emergency situation, always dial 911. However, here are instances when you might consider utilizing CHPW Virtual Care:
